StaffBuffalo SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern text messages sent by or on behalf of StaffBuffalo to the mobile number you provide. By opting in to receive SMS messages from StaffBuffalo, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. Program description

StaffBuffalo uses SMS for communications related to recruiting, employment, client services, scheduling, and other business interactions. Messages may include:

  • Job opportunity outreach and application follow-up

  • Interview scheduling, confirmations, and directions

  • Requests for documents or information needed to proceed

  • Offer coordination and onboarding steps

  • Recruiting or employment-related updates

  • Client, candidate, and business communications

  • Scheduling and appointment coordination

  • Responses to questions you send us

2. How you opt in

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from StaffBuffalo by providing your mobile phone number and expressly consenting to receive text messages, including through a website application or intake form, during a telephone or in-person conversation, or through another method where you affirmatively agree to receive SMS communications.

When SMS consent is requested through a StaffBuffalo website form, SMS consent is optional and is collected separately from consent to other communications, acceptance of Terms of Use, or submission of the underlying form. SMS consent checkboxes are not pre-selected.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of applying for employment opportunities, receiving recruiting services, purchasing services, or otherwise doing business with StaffBuffalo.

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with StaffBuffalo and your recruiting, onboarding, or staffing needs.

4. Cost and carrier charges

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you according to your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Supported carriers and delivery

SMS delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network availability. StaffBuffalo does not guarantee message delivery, timeliness, or availability in all areas.

6. Opting out (STOP)

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any StaffBuffalo text message. After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further SMS messages from that StaffBuffalo number unless you re-opt in.

By opting in, you confirm you are authorized to use the mobile number you provide. You agree not to use our SMS program to submit unlawful, abusive, harassing, or threatening content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued participation after an update means you accept the updated terms.
