Maggie Shea: Honoree At The 7th Annual Ignite Awards Luncheon - Women’s Business Center at Canisius University!

Last week, we celebrated Maggie, Partner of StaffBuffalo as one of the 2024 Ignite Award recipients! Each year the Women’s Business Center at Canisius University honor women business owners who are making impact in the Western New York Community!

The WBC luncheon was an incredible opportunity to witness the recognition of women-owned businesses and their profound impact on our community. According to WBC, “14 million or 39.1% of all US firms are owned by women and they employ 12.2 million people. These women-owned firms generate $2.7 trillion in revenues or 5.8% of total firm revenue nationally.” This highlights the essential role that women entrepreneurs play in driving economic growth and fostering innovation in their community.   

A special acknowledgement of all the inspiring businesswomen that were honored and nominated for this year’s Ignite Awards, you’re breaking the barriers and paving the way for the next wave of women leaders.
