Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 Luncheon!
Congratulations to StaffBuffalo Managing Partner Maggie Shea for being selected as one of Buffalo Business First’s 40 Under 40 Winners! The StaffBuffalo team, family and friends had a wonderful time celebrating Maggie and all the other honorees at an award luncheon on November 30th at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
Nardin Alumni Career Presentation
On October 12, StaffBuffalo Partner Lauren Lewis presented to Nardin High School students on her career path from Nardin Academy to Fordham University to Pharmaceutical Sales to StaffBuffalo!
Her advice? It’s ok to change! Be open to new people, ideas and opportunities.
UB International Education Week
StaffBuffalo Administrative Assistant Lisa Gagnon recently shared about her experiences with the Fulbright Program at the University at Buffalo’s International Education Week! IEW is celebrated at UB to expose members of the UB community to the diverse perspectives of other cultures and, hopefully, to increase community members’ cross-cultural awareness, curiosity and knowledge.
Clarence Rotary Shadow Day
StaffBuffalo Managing Partner, Maggie Shea, had the honor of being the keynote speaker at the Clarence Rotary Shadow Day on November 1st! Founded in 1960, the Clarence Rotary Foundation’s mission is to establish, foster, and encourage programs that have a positive, lasting impact in promoting greater understanding between people.
DisruptHR Buffalo 3.0!
StaffBuffalo Managing Partner, Maggie Shea, was Organizing Sponsor of DisruptHR Buffalo 3.0 back in October! StaffBuffalo team members Stephanie Hobbs, Anne Coughlin, and Lauren Lewis joined in as well for this global event series born to shakes things up, make you think differently, and leave you inspired. Disruptors each have 5 minutes, with slides rotating every 15 seconds, to speak. Their goal is to share ideas around talent with precise passion!
Landing your next job!
StaffBuffalo Partner, Lauren Lewis, recently received a Distinguished Alumna Award from Nardin Academy and was honored at the Founder’s Dinner on November 15! Since graduating from Nardin in 2002, Lauren Lewis has been extremely active in the alumni community. Forever a Nardin Champion, she has served as a volunteer at a number of Academy events and, most recently, assumed the position of Chair of the Nardin Academy Alumnae Association - Buffalo Chapter.
