About Me:

Meet Sheri! A lifelong learner, Sheri holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Education from the University at Buffalo. Dedicated to empowering others, Sheri has a background as a High School Counselor and later transitioned into Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. She is one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists at StaffBuffalo! Known for her natural positivity and empathetic approach, Sheri listens attentively to clients, finding positive solutions for their business needs. Committed to making a positive impact, she leverages her unique skill-set to help diverse clients and companies. The Talent Acquisition team works to enhance current hiring strategies, company branding/marketing, social media audits, as well as guiding clients through the hiring process - from sourcing and recruitment to offering negotiations and onboarding!

Sheri’s career journey is a testament to the belief that anyone can make a career change at any point in their life. When Sheri decided to pursue HR and Talent Acquisition, she was warmly welcomed into the local HR community. Embracing the principle of, “help the next one in line,” she is enthusiastic about the opportunities to support others through similar times in their lives. She looks forward to creating meaningful connections and making a difference in the journeys of those around her.

Sheri’s favorite part of working at StaffBuffalo has been the personal connections and relationships that she’s built with WNY businesses, and community members. Recruiting and Talent Acquisition can seem overwhelming or stressful to business owners. Sheri takes great pride in her ability to calm those fears and formulate specific goals and strategies that improve client concerns. Sheri is incredibly proud to be a part of our growing teams at StaffBuffalo and HRBuffalo and feels very privileged to be able to work with and learn from so many talented people every day!!

Beyond The Office:

During her free time, Sheri loves to relax at home with her family and dog. She is a lover of all things outdoors; especially the Buffalo waterfront, Boating, Camping and walking anywhere scenic or pretty. She can usually be found by a bonfire, or on her back patio or front porch in the warmer months. Sheri is always looking for her next DIY project, whether that be renovating their old home, building a chicken coop for their beloved chicks, or adding family outdoor fun projects to their property. She has a rescue dog, Piper, and she loves anything Buffalo Bills – Go Bills!
