Buffalo Business first’s “mentoring monday” - Maggie shea, CPA
Buffalo Business First hosted the 4th annual Bizwomen Mentoring Monday Event, at RiverWorks, while the rest of Business First participated in the same event across the country. Attendees had the opportunity to choose from mentors who are the most influential women in the community, one of those women being Maggie Shea.

Each holiday season, members of B Team Buffalo organize the City of Light event. The goal of the initiative is to decorate a neighborhood in the city so that it shines bright for the holidays. Volunteers spend time decorating the streets and houses of the community, as well as hosting a free winter carnival for the families. This winter carnival provides the neighborhood children with gifts from Santa, games, crafts, and a community dinner. The B Team also gathers volunteers and residents for a tree lighting ceremony and celebration. StaffBuffalo is a proud sponsor of this year's event and plans to support the future City of Light events to come!

StaffBuffalo LLC is a sponsor for the Insandity Race, at Woodlawn Beach State Park, which is an all-out 5K battle along Lake Erie that combines sand, water and obstacles to see who will take home the symbolic “Insandity Trident” as male and female champion. There is also a children’s Insandity Race, which begins after the adult races at the "Inflatable Kids Obstacle Course". The day and night of “Insandity” is great fun for the entire family – There will be bounce houses, sand castle building, swimming, paddle boats, volleyball, and all kinds of attractions for all ages, as well as great local food vendors and regional beer, wine and beverages, and fantastic live musical entertainment, leading up to the headline act. A portion of the proceeds will go to Hearts for the Homeless (Buffalo).
