Hannah Lewis

Accounting Intern | StaffBuffalo LLC

Hannah is an ambitious college student, who has her Associate’s Degree in Business and is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, starting in the Spring.  Hannah’s ultimate goal is to finish her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in New York City, before obtaining her Masters of Business Administration and becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Hannah is always keeping busy between school, cheerleading, dancing, photography, and working.

Hannah brings a combination of an analytical approach and positive thinking to the StaffBuffalo Team, learning while assisting in all aspects of the Accounting and Operational Functions for a small and growing business - Hannah prepares and processes payroll, updates NYS and Federal paperwork, manages the general ledger, creates invoices for clients, processes Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, drafts paperwork and tax information for review, and coordinates with government organizations.  She also is the designated photographer and media editor, performs website maintenance, coordinates company outreach, and heads up the social media process on all outlets.

In addition to assisting with the Accounting and Operational functions of StaffBuffalo, Hannah is an integral part of the Recruiting Process – reviewing applications, formatting resumes, setting up testing, coordinating start information between clients and candidates, assisting temporary employees with questions/concerns, and assisting the Recruiters in building target candidate lists for StaffBuffalo clients.

Between work and studies:

Hannah takes pride in being born and raised here in Buffalo and believes it is important to stand out in the community and work to make a difference in the City.  Hannah is passionate about volunteering and helps build houses for Habitat for Humanity, “Cooks For Kids” at Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY, performs mock interviews at local colleges, donates blood to Roswell Park Cancer Institution, and plays volleyball with the kids of The Salvation Army Summer Camp for their FUNtastic Friday program!! Hannah has also made a difference in the community by volunteering for events such as Child & Family Services’s Adopt-a-Family Program, Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure, NYSSCPA & NextGen Buffalo’s Annual Golf Tourney, and DisruptHR Buffalo.

Hannah has an infectious personality (and contagious laughter) that travels with her in every adventure around and outside of the city. In her spare time, she loves to dance, go hiking, practice yoga, hula hoop, take photos with her Canon, explore Buffalo’s unique agriculture, soak up sun on the beach, and play the guitar and piano.  If you see Hannah around the city, you will most definitely share a laugh with her!
